Salary range: $57,964.05 to $68,193.00 annually

For the 2021-22 Academic Year, based on public health guidelines, NSCC plans to return to more in-person learning, supports and services. You may be required to work on campus, remotely or a combination of both as the Academic Year begins and progresses. This will be clarified further upon hire.

This position is responsible for providing effective communications support for the NSCC Foundation and Alumni Relations department. This entry-level position reports to the Executive Director and works alongside a team of professionals working to advance the College's mission through philanthropy and alumni relations.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a diploma or degree in public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field.
  • This is an entry level position. We welcome applications from recent graduates.
  • You have introductory experience in the field of communications and/or marketing.
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit, foundation or charity would be considered an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail and have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites program, specifically Adobe in Design, Adobe Spark and Adobe Photoshop.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology, and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.
