What you will be doing…

With an emphasis on energy and sustainability, you will be responsible for carrying out duties related to building mechanical and alarm systems including but not limited to HVAC and sprinkler systems as well, you will perform a full range of duties associated with maintaining the campus facilities in a safe and hygienic condition; transport and move furniture, equipment and supplies; maintain a customer service-orientated relations with users of the facilities and perform other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager of designate.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

• The minimum educational qualification for this position is 4th Class Power Engineer or 2nd Class Refrigeration Certification. Training in WHMIS & OHS regulations would be considered an asset.
• You have a minimum of two years of recent and related occupational experience in operation of stationary and auxiliary equipment with basic knowledge of HVAC and energy management theory and principals.
• You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail,. Experience with Building Automation Systems woudl be considered an asset.
• You have demonstrated experience providing general ground maintenance duties (ie. snow removal, grass cutting, use of wipper snipper

• You are dedicated to life-long learning, taking training , for courses in building environment, pool operator course and others that may be required.
• You are able to perform all physical duties of the job as required for the operation and maintenance of the facilities and operation of small hand tools and shop equipment
• Include any other bona fide relevant occupational requirement , Valid Drivers License required, others like this ,Fisrt Aid, Forklift Operator, Fall Arrest will be considered an asset.
