The UNB College of Extended Learning is the primary lifelong learning outreach vehicle for the University and carries critical community-building and revenue-generation functions. As an educational entrepreneurial unit, CEL contributes to the economic, social and cultural life of the province by providing educational programs and services to a wide spectrum of learners.

Salary Range: $65,360 - $84,791 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Associate Executive Director, The Faculty Innovation and Planning Strategist works with the purpose of supporting the development of new non-credit faculty programming (primarily on-line) that will help achieve the University's strategic aims for 2030. The Strategist provides overall leadership, direction and oversight for the development of new collaborations between CEL, Faculties across UNB, and external partners.
- Proactively schedule meetings with faculty for the purpose of exploring the development of new online non-credit programming.
- Foster strategic alliances and strengthen key relationships with stakeholders to build toward the University's strategic aims.
- Assist in business-casing of new opportunities, including market research and reporting.
- Demo existing CEL online courses and programs as a showcase to instigate future growth in online provision between CEL and Faculties.
- Responsible for the life cycle management of programs (program performance, entrance to market, general operations).
- Ensure goals and timelines of projects are met.
- Participate in appropriate committees as required to benefit the interests of CEL, working relationships with Faculties and with the overall purpose of helping to achieve the University's Strategic Vision.
- Set tone and provide template for working relationships between CEL, Faculties and other stakeholders.
- Provides supervision, training and guidance to staff assigned to relevant projects in consultation with the leadership of CEL, and with understanding of UNB, policies, agreements and Strategic Vision.
- Explore opportunities to improve business case documentation in accordance with UNB's requirements.
- Identify and communicate new opportunities and methodologies.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on policy, strategic plans and action recommendations to the leadership of CEL.
- Define and develop medium- and long-term action plans in line with UNB's strategic vision and in discussion with the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director of CEL.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5 years directly related experience, with demonstrated success in strategic planning and working in Faculty contexts.

- Excellent communication.
- Ability to management multiple projects with different timelines.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
