What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Assist with configuration management (CM) responsibility, including training, field service (fielding/de-fielding)
  • Determining customer life cycle support requirements for various systems
  • Provides technical service management and technical support for customer programs
  • Assures all repairs are in accordance with company policy and procedure and customer quality requirements
  • Support IPTs Providing analyses and recommendations in support of Integrated Product Teams
  • Take ownership of the Spares Management Process Business Model
  • Performs specific administrative tasks in support of ILS specialists
  • Manages and supports multiple projects, customers and schedules simultaneously
  • Support the definition of spares requirements along with appropriate provisioning and necessary documentation
  • Ability to work with and on occasion lead a team of engineers and technicians to complete a project or projects
  • Participate in preparing proposal inputs concerning ILS, product support and reliability areas
  • Prepare Reliability, Availability and Maintainability information for In-service Support
  • Assist with Life Cycle Cost Management and Maintenance Optimization
  • Assist with Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Assist with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • ·Analyzes engineering change documentation to determine applicability and scope of effort on logistics support activities
  • Support the part cataloguing efforts and the clearing of items in quarantine by working with subcontractors who are gathering the information as required
  • Monitor and facilitate the spares management process from purchase to delivery
  • Monitor and facilitate the Equipment Identification and Marking of Initial Provisioning Supply Items processes
  • Provide support for all phases of Integrated Product Support Program Life Cycle Logistics for systems acquisition, to include requirements, determination, development, deployment and sustainment and disposal
  • Develop and support the execution plan of delivering ILS SDRLs requirement
  • Develops provisioning/Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) data
  • Undertaking cost analyses for system support designs and their alternatives
  • Manage team performance against the contracted statement of work (SOW) and provide monthly reports to the Program Manager
  • May be involved in customer installation and training
  • Perform detailed proposal preparation & development including basis of estimate writing for ILS functions
  • Ensure optimal source of supply is pursued across the project and considers lead times, cost avoidance, and government acquisition requirements ensuring supply visibility is promoted from initial request to point of customer receipt
  • Ensure compliance with all project logistics requirements
  • Finalize and/or generate requested task hour estimates for review and approval
  • Assist in the creation and management of ILS requirements, including technical manuals and other supporting documentation
  • Administer the Spares Management Program in close contact with stakeholders and monitor its implementation in accordance with SOW and applicable ISI Business Management procedures
  • Produce required reports and metrics in order to keep internal and external stakeholders engaged.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 or more year of prior relevant experience; or a master's degree. and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.
  • Must currently possess an active NATO Clearance
  • 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams and/or projects.
  • Direct experience providing ILS for military acquisition programs and programs of record.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working within matrixed teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the development of mil-spec technical documentation to include interactive electronic technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with the Systems Approach to Training method for training development and implementation.

  • Direct experience developing and implementing for military acquisition programs.
