Clearwater's Bedford, NS, office requires a Logistics Intern for a four-month Co-op term. The anticipated start date for the position is May 2023.


Purpose of Position

  • The purpose of this position is to work with and support Clearwater's logistics/supply chain teams.


Reporting Structure

  • This position will report to the Transportation Manager.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Generate documentation for, coordinate time for orders.
  • Assist with arrangement of routings, bookings, rates, special documentation, consolidations, point of clearance, local cartage, tracing, tracking shipments, and advising customers of any changes.
  • Assist with ensuring shipments are not released without credit approval.
  • Assist with processing and filing of transportation related invoices.
  • Assist with ongoing Logistics projects.
  • Assist with entering information in SAP.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a post-secondary degree in business and/or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain management concepts, strategies would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in SAP environment an asset.
