What you'll do

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will expect to teach a total of six courses in the Computing and Information Systems (CISY) area and/or in the new Sobey Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) Program. The CISY is a major of the BComm program at the Sobey School of Business to prepare student with IT knowledge and skills as well as in-depth understanding of strategic information needs of business and consumers. The Sobey MBAN program is designed to meet the growing need for talented data analytics professionals with the skills and advanced applied knowledge to develop, evaluate, refine, and implement analytics applications to drive business innovation and success.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a master's degree. Candidates with a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or a closely related discipline will be given preference.
  • Demonstrated a strong commitment of teaching. Ability to teach any of the following will be considered an asset: machine learning and artificial intelligence, organizational information systems, accounting analytics, financial analytics, foundations of the Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), ethics and governance.
