The Opportunity
We have a position for an Electronic Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate can look forward to a variety of challenges including:
- Testing and troubleshooting of AM / FM transmitters & associated equipment
- Testing and troubleshooting field returns, as well as researching information on
product systems, subsystems etc. as necessary
- Maintaining and/or establishing troubleshooting and repair/retest info for future
reference
- Working with Customer Service and Engineering to resolve issues
- Working as integral part of test room/customer service team
- Working to meet standard for Customer Service repair turn-around times
Functional Tasks will include: Gripping, grasping, pinching, fine finger movement, both hands; Pushing; Reaching, elbow & wrist flexion; Twisting; Shoulder and neck flexion; Walking, standing, sitting, squatting; Climbing and working from ladders; Movement of goods; Some writing and keyboard use; Lifting up to 25kg; Pushing & pulling force >25kg.

Qualifications
Candidates should:
As a minimum, have a technical college diploma as an Electronic Engineering Technician/Technologist and ideally, have experience in:
- Working with high voltages (208V- 480V)
- Working with analog, digital, and power electronic circuits and systems
- Working with RF systems (MF, HF, VHF)
- Using electronic test equipment
- Testing and troubleshooting to the component level
You should also:
Have the ability to work on your own initiative and also operate well within a team environment;
Be able to demonstrate proven communication skills and a willingness to learn and work across different areas of responsibility;
Be able to troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems;
Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
