Temporary assignment : 12 months

Reporting to the Client Experience Coordinator, the agent is responsible for providing quality customer service to Investments and Retirement clients. The agent's main responsibility is to carry out financial transactions from brokers and clients while respecting regulations and deadlines.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

·Process daily financial transactions in the administrative system from brokers or clients. This includes deposits, withdrawals, transfers between funds, periodic deposits and periodic withdrawals. Financial transactions must be processed in a timely matter.

·Provide excellent customer service by telephone, email or correspondence to customers and the sales force. These requests require the interpretation of contracts and financial products.

·Review documentation related to the Investment and Retirement department, including forms, contracts, procedures, etc. Ensure continuity in these documents and keep them up to date.

·Perform change requests for clients and brokers, including beneficiary changes, address changes, name changes, creation of new members, other modifications, etc.

There is a possibility that the Individual Client Service Agent will perform tests on administrative programs and work on the validation of computer systems projects for the Investments and Retirement department. These tasks are designed to bring improvements and efficiencies to the administrative systems for the team.

What you'll need

Qualifications

·Bilingual - French and English - written and oral communication

·A college or university diploma in administration or relevant field

·Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or other

·Has a strong understanding of the regulations for individual investment options including deposits (RRSP, TFSA, LIRA, non-registered) and withdrawals (RRIF, LIF, annuities) in Canada

·Good knowledge of pension plans (defined benefit and defined contribution)

·Must be comfortable with financial terminology and have the ability to learn new administrative systems quickly

·Must demonstrate interpersonal, diplomatic and tact skills in order to establish positive alliances with internal and external clients, as well as with service providers

·Must demonstrate good computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook, in order to be able to perform their daily work

·Must be self-sufficient

·Must have a great organization skills

·Must have a high degree of analysis
