What you will be doing…

We are looking for a senior leader to create a dynamic environment for the people who learn and work at NSCC's Strait Area Campus. You will need to be equally adept at inspiring people to do their best; community relations; fiscal management; human resources management; operational planning resulting in the delivery of excellent post-secondary education. Providing daily leadership to more than 600 full-time students and a staff group in excess of 100 will require outstanding communication and team-building skills. Fortunately, you have been honing these skills all your working life.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

Our newest Principal must have ten years of relevant experience and have served recently in a senior leadership role within a large organization, preferably a post-secondary institution. You have a graduate degree and if you have experience working with diverse communities, it would be a great asset. You are a highly collaborative leader who builds and motivates teams to do amazing things. You can manage multiple projects and objectives, while building and realizing a vision for the Strait Area Campus of NSCC. You have a passion for helping people achieve their dreams through adult education and life-long learning. And you are looking for the challenge of a lifetime.

Although these two sections say they are optional; they are not optional and are required for a complete NSCC application.

Questions. Next to the Application tab, you will see a Questions tab. We will need you to complete these questions in order to submit your application.
