Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) is jointly owned by the four Atlantic provincial governments: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Headquartered in Moncton, NB, ALC has been consistently delivering lottery excellence to Atlantic Canadians for over 40 years. Their mandate is to provide government regulated and responsible products for those who choose to game and, through that effort, deliver 100% of lottery profits to their four provincial shareholders in Atlantic Canada. ALC employs over 600 people and strives to help create business income for thousands of retailers and suppliers across the East Coast.

It is within this context that ALC is seeking its next President & CEO, someone who is digitally savvy with a forward-thinking and continuous improvement mindset. This person will be seen as a catalyst for change and growth. 

Reporting to, and working in close partnership with, the Board of Directors, the President & CEO holds responsibility for overall leadership in developing the Corporation's vision, values and strategic direction. They will direct the business and operations, ensuring that strategic and operational plans are effectively developed and implemented, with results being attained and reported to the Board. The President & CEO will also continuously improve the organization's ability to function and perform effectively and efficiently. They will provide the leadership required to effectively position and manage ALC's relationships and values with employees, partners, governments, players and the public.

As an ideal candidate, you are a charismatic, highly dynamic and experienced senior executive, skilled at building strong relationships and communicating with diverse groups. You currently operate or have operated in a large, complex environment, ideally one that is subject to regulation with multiple stakeholders. In being a strong promoter for corporate social responsibility, your conduct will inspire a keen sense of commitment to sustainability and community welfare. Your record of success in leading high performing teams and corporations in sectors undergoing significant disruption will serve you well in this role.

Our players have been having fun and "dreaming big" since 1976 when Atlantic Lottery started offering lottery games on behalf of the governments of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island. The game options have grown and changed over the years and so has our workforce! Today's Atlantic Lottery has more than 600 employees, who are the heart and soul of our business.
