We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service / Receptionist to join our Oakville team. The Customer Service Specialist will greets people as they arrive at the office, re-direct visitors to appropriate person or service. Answers and forwards telephone calls, take messages, schedule appointments and perform other clerical duties

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen and redirect incoming calls through the office switchboard
  • Greet visitor, respond to public inquires and provide information about the organization
  • Maintaining reception and meeting areas to ensure a professional environment for all staff and clients
  • Schedule boardrooms using MS Outlook and coordinate any special meeting requirements
  • Coordinate and distribute all inbound and outbound mail and courier deliveries
  • Receive, review and process orders
  • Provide administrative support to others as required
  • All other duties as assigned

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in office administration or related field
  • Minimum two years of experience in an office environment would be an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Working with others
  • Organized, with ability to multi-task and prioritize
