The Opportunity
The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame is seeking qualified individuals who can act as Casual Tour Guides and Birthday Party Hosts to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This is an on-call position when bookings are made.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Minimum of two hours per booking, at $20 per hour
Casual part-time employment ? work when you want!
Gain experience in the non-profit sector
Gain experience with developing and coordinating event details.
Build relationships and connections in the community and with other organizations.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Background in working with children would be an asset
Experience with event management would be an asset
Experience with keyholding
Interest in sports, the arts and culture
Able to speak in both official languages, bilingualism is a strong asset
A little bit about us
New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame
For more than 50 years, the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame has played a lead role in preserving and promoting our sports heritage. We celebrate New Brunswick's most inspiring athletes and sport builders at our annual Induction Gala and grant them permanent recognition in our provincial sports shrine. Additionally, as a non-government incorporated charity run mostly by volunteers, we operate the only Sports Museum in New Brunswick. With the mandate to strengthen New Brunswick's cultural and societal fabric, through exhibitions, programming, and outreach, the NBSHF tells the amazing stories of New Brunswick's most inspiring athletes and sport builders. By honouring our best we inspire the rest.
