The Business Systems Analyst, iLottery, will support the successful operations and evolution of our Player Account Management systems (including player account and profile, wallet, RG features with the potential of more ie. Easy access project) and services through product lifecycles so that we can provide our players optimal experiences when on our site.

Continuous improvement cycles and researching innovative trends/approaches will be at the forefront of this position. This position will be responsible for monitoring the health of the certain functions on the website (account creation, funding/payment and Responsible Gambling activities, etc.) and the supporting of the back office systems using qualitative and quantitative data. They will be required to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders to ensure the proper solutions are delivered.

Responsibilities

Collect and Analyze Information

Understand our players and market as well as the gaps and opportunities that exist within the Player Account Management systems and functions. This will be done by partnering with internal business teams to define business processes and associated system requirements. Analyze and evaluate, present proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs. Optimize the player experiences on the website by monitoring/analyzing performance and player feedback against key metrics to determine opportunities. Gain an understanding of the technical complexity of the back office systems.

Process Documentation

Write and maintain process documentation. Document system problems and resolutions for improved player experience.

Enhancements Delivery

Investigate and analyze problems and business processes and requirements, including impact analysis of change and all systems and business areas for projects up to high complexity in order to recommend appropriate solutions. Facilitates and functions as a liaison between business and technical units and works with analysts to design solutions to meet business requirements. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements for process and applications development to ensure high quality in all deliverables. Plans, tracks and communicates activity status to stakeholders and management as required. Plan, prioritize and deliver system enhancements by understanding and assessing business value, features, functionality and support the teams to deliver new and innovative solutions. Support user acceptance testing efforts when delivering projects or enhancements

Policies, Regulations and Standards

Ensuring compliance and maintaining confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored and accessed. Interprets complex requirements from stakeholders and gaming legislation.

Incident Management

Assist, troubleshoot and help resolve systems related issues in conjunction with other departments. The understanding is that this person would not escalate unless it has deep player and integrity impacts. Ensuring communications and updates on incidents are completed to the appropriate stakeholders.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Business, Information Science, or Computer field plus four (4) years of related experience

Excellent organization, planning and prioritizing skills.

Proactive approach to problems and issues, working ahead of potential "glitches". Skill in performing structured business analysis on medium to large projects.

Skill in analysis, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making.

Skill in teamwork, communication (Collaboration and Tact), innovation, adaptability and decision making, along with a customer focus, results orientation, and business sense.

Skill in User Acceptance testing.

Skill in business or technical writing as evidenced by previous work-related experience.

Ability in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Ability to effectively participate in multiple major projects or project roles or lead a variety of project team activities/tasks.

Ability to perform objective analysis and re-engineering of business processes to maximize quality service and cost-effectiveness. Ability to meet deadlines and communicate the status of assignments.

Comprehensive knowledge of the existing automated business applications and their relationships to each other and interfaces to outside systems.

Candidate is responsible to look for business opportunities to streamline processes with automated solutions, both internally and externally.

Knowledge and/or experience of gaming and/or gambling industry.
