As a Senior Accountant in the Saint John office you will get to know your clients, so you can provide them with the best service possible. We are an extension of their team, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
With offices in two of New Brunswick's three major centres and a team of 40+, our firm is large enough to offer the most in-depth and comprehensive services in our region while staying focused on building relationships and providing a personal touch.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting services such as audit engagements, review engagements, compilations, and notice to reader engagements
- Plan, prepare and execute financial statements with appropriate note disclosures
- Analyze and complete corporate and personal income tax returns
- Work with clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
- Work closely with clients and provide exceptional client service
- Work with junior staff to mentor and support learning
What you'll need
Qualifications
- University Degree or College Diploma with a concentration in Accounting
- CPA designation
- 1-3 years experience post CPA designation in public accounting
- Strong technical expertise in accounting and tax
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a small team is an asset
- Proficiency with Caseware, Doc-it, TaxPrep, or other equivalent accounting software
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills
