RevIQ is a team of analysts, producers, designers, product managers, gamers, and artists working together to improve the performance and design of free-to-play games and live-exploitation apps for mobile devices. Our focus is on working with established studios, indies, and publishers to improve the quality and appeal of their products across the total revenue performance, design, marketing, promotion, engagement, and customer lifecycle of the product. We work with some of the biggest names in games, and we're growing fast - our Data Scientists will work with our growing team of gaming professionals to drive critical decisionmaking and transformative change for every product we manage!

What you'll do

Responsibilities

A Data Scientist will combine their analytical, strategic, financial, and technical skill sets to build data-driven models and analytical approaches that improve our understanding of customer behavior and products, as well as predict outcomes. The Data Scientist will develop data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling solutions to better understand game performance and player engagement with guidance from senior product leads. Extracting insights from massive datasets contained in numerous external tools and platforms, the Data Scientist will collaborate on the optimization of live in-game events, targeted marketing, merchandising and offers, etc.

Experience: 2 to 4 years experience in a similar role.

  • Exceptional, proven experience in business decision-making supported by strong analytical and creative capabilities
  • Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis approaches such as classification, clustering, regression, statistical inference, collaborative filtering, natural language processing, experimental design, social graph analysis, etc
  • Experience developing and completing research projects to generate practical results and product recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, using MATLAB or R to manipulate SQL, MPP, and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency with Python, Java, C++, Hadoop (Map Reduce/Mahout), or Tableau
